In association with Action Aid India, an intervention was undertaken to ensure education opportunities to children of industrial workers in Noida.
PROJECT #SWIP
The Spinning Wheel Program is an initiative aimed at empowering collective action to solve grassroots village’s problems along with providing multiple forms of educational support (Curriculum building, teacher training, workshops etc.) to local schools.
PROJECT #RATTAN
An artwork was carried out near Lodi Road/ Nizamuddin on the Flyover. Students from Centum-Gro Initiative institute volunteered for the painting along with Delhi Street Art.
PROJECT #NISHKA
The initiative involves brightening the school environment to make it more conducive for learning using colorful classrooms in order to stimulate creativity & innovation. In association with Delhi Street Art & Teach For India.
PROJECT #PUBLICART
Public spaces are covered with colourful art carrying some social message. DSA has actively done more than 50 such Public Art Works. DSA carries out these activities using its wide volunteer base and group of trained artists.
PROJECT #HOME4ARTISTS
Funds were contributed by PO Box Trust
to Home for Artists, a Jaipur based community which were used to purchase infrastructure and household appliances for the free stay encouraging artists.
